Edmonton Youth Excellence Awards

Youth in Edmonton aren’t just great – they’re EXCELLENT! That’s why the City of Edmonton Youth Council wants to recognize them for all they've done.

You can nominate yourself, a friend, a student, employee, family member, co-worker or anyone you know between 12-23 years old who lives in Edmonton. There are three age categories and five areas of excellence. All submissions will be evaluated by Youth Council members. Winners will be chosen based on their categories and on the achievement or growth shown. Ties will be broken by random draws.

The Prize? $100 cash! Plus recognition during Youth Week May 1-7. All nominees with valid mailing addresses will get an official certificate of achievement and letter of recognition. Some of the stories will appear online.

Nomination deadline is Thursday, April 21, 2011.
